How to Use Remini – An Easy Step-by-Step Guide to Enhancing Photos

You might know that Remini is an AI-Photo Enhancer app that lets you transform low-quality photos into high-quality portraits. But you might not know how it is done. Though Remini does not require prior experience, knowing the basics is always good. 

Here in this article, we will guide you step by step on how to use Remini so you can transform your photos to the best form possible.

Selecting a Feature

Remini has several editing features that can transform your blurry, low-quality photos into sharpened high-resolution images. Once you open the app on your mobile phone, select one of these features, such as Enhancing photos, creating AI Avatars, transforming images with AI filters, celebrity snapshots, seeing your future self, enhancing videos, etc.

Photo Enhancement

Once a specific feature is selected, upload the photo you want to edit. For example, if you want to enhance your photo, select the “Enhance” feature, and upload your photo from the Gallery. Once the photo is uploaded, click on the “Enhance” button. 

Wait for a few seconds and let the app process your photo for enhancement. Once the photo is processed, you will have the following options:

  • Background Blur: Click on this feature to blur your background with three options available “Low, Medium, and High”.
  • Colours:  Choose this option to modify colours of the image, if needed. It includes eight different colour choices.
  • Background Enhancer: This feature offers three different background-enhancing options that let you sharpen and clarify the background and make it look visually appealing.
  • Face Beautifier: This feature specifically beautifies your face, making the feature of your face more clear.
  • Face Enhancer: Similar to Face Beautifier, this feature of the app further enhances facial features, resulting in a brighter and more detailed appearance.

AI Avatars

  • Step 1: To create AI photos, Click on “AI Photos” at the bottom of the home screen.
  • Step 2: On the next page, to generate photos of yourself, you will need to pick a model image to start generating AI photos. To do so, Click on the “Pick Model Image” button.
  • Step 3: You will have hundreds of model images to choose from with a wide range of different categories such as Yearbook Vibes, Baby fever, Jobs, Holiday Destinations, Curriculum, Wedding, Summer Vibes, Cinematic Photos, Winter Mood, Aesthetic, and Fantasy, etc.
  • Step 4: Once you select a specific model image, Click on the “Use this Model Image” button.
  • Step 5: In this last step, you need to wait for a few minutes as it will start generating photos.

Your photos are ready! You’ll now have a variety of photo options. Decide whether to save all of them to your gallery or pick your favourites. Download the app now.

How to Retrain Your Model in Remini

Sometimes, the photos you provide to Remini do not give you accurate results, meaning it doesn’t show your actual face in the AI photos. For that, you will need to retrain your model with other high-quality photos of yourself.

  • To do so, Click on the “Settings” icon on the right side above the main screen.
  • In the settings, select  “Retrain AI Model”
  • Next, a pop-up will appear asking you to delete your current model. Simply click on the “Yes, Delete Model” button.
  • Now, pick your gender (male or female) and click on the “Continue” button at the bottom.
  • After selecting your gender, upload eight high-quality selfies of yourself from your phone’s gallery by clicking on the “Upload 8 Selfies” button.
  • Once you have selected the photos, click on “Continue” and your AI model will be retrained with the new photos for better results.
